Hey thanks for viewing my portfolio. Thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself.

My names Colin Hughes I'm 25 and live in sunny West Sussex. I have been spending the last year self-training myself as a 3D Artist for the Video Games Industry. I very recently enrolled at Train2Game studying 3D Art and Animation. Previous to this I was studying at Brighton University on a foundation degree in Computer Games Development. I hope to one day work within the Industry as an Environmental/Prop Artist. 

I have always had a keen interest in games ever since I first picked up a NES pad when I was a lot younger. Ever since then I have always aimed for the Video games industry When I'm not modelling I'm playing games at Present Battlefield 3 takes up a lot of my gaming time although I own many different consoles and love playing pretty much every genre on today’s market. I'm a super Mario over Sonic kind of guy who has a Space Invader tattoo on my forearm. You can't beat a classic retro game. I love looking at the latest trends within the industry and researching upcoming titles. E3 is like Christmas for me love seeing the various different press conferences. 

As I mentioned I play a lot of games however I do have quite a varied life outside of the gaming world. I spend a lot of my free time with friends and I'm currently planning to go to a few music festivals. I love Motorsport anything with a engine does the trick for me. I'm a huge fan of Formula 1 and the World Rally Championships.
